Azure Data Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team. As an expert in data engineering, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems on the Azure cloud platform.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing efficient data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data processing, and optimizing system performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with experienced engineers and researchers to develop innovative AI and ML solutions.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures on Azure.
  • Develop and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure services such as HDInsight, Databricks, and Data Factory.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate research into real-world use cases.
  • Conduct R&D in Traditional AI domains such as Computer Vision, object detection, segmentation, OCR, and Predictive Analytics.
Requirements:
  • 7-12 years of hands-on experience in AI-Machine Learning Research & Development including minimum 2-3 years in GenAI.
  • Strong experience with LLMs fine-tuning model evaluation vector databases and inference pipelines.
  • Deep expertise in at least one traditional domain Computer Vision eg CNNs YOLO Mask RCNN or Predictive Modeling eg time series survival models.
  • Experience deploying models in Edge Cloud MLOps pipelines and working with enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with notebook-based prototyping REST APIs and ML libraries.
