About this role

We are seeking a skilled leader to manage our software engineering team.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced manager who can deliver OEM enablement projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, deep knowledge of the Linux system, low-level debugging experience, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities include recruiting, motivating, mentoring, and enabling team members to succeed, setting goals with the team, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring project progress from kickoff to post-mortem.

  • Set goals with the team, prioritize tasks, identify and measure team health indicators.
  • Maximise the results of team members and support their career growth.

We require:

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • A Bachelor (or higher) degree in STEM, preferably computer science or software engineering.
  • Proven track record in technical roles with Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian.
  • Commitment to development and testing methodologies, and maintainable code quality.
  • Experience with management responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
