Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of students, teachers, and staff.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Customer Service: Offer excellent customer service to students, teachers, and staff, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
  • Managing Library Collections: Manage the library collection, including acquisition, cataloging, and maintenance of materials, ensuring that resources are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Developing Library Programs: Develop and implement library programs and services that meet the needs of students, teachers, and staff, promoting literacy and lifelong learning.
  • Assisting Teachers: Assist teachers with lesson plans and research projects, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as budgeting, inventory management, and data entry, ensuring efficient operation of the library.

 

Requirements:

  • A degree in Library Science or a related field.
  • Experience working in a library setting, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
