Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to fill this key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data related to shipments, inventory, and delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data entry or a similar role, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management software. Strong typing skills and accuracy are essential, along with a basic understanding of inventory management and tracking systems.

  • Enter and update data related to shipments, inventory, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods received, dispatched, and stored.
  • Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports and summaries based on entered data.
  • Assist in tracking shipments and updating status information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Coordinate with logistics staff, drivers, and other departments for data accuracy.
  • Use logistics management software and MS Office tools for data entry and reporting.
  • Support internal audits and data validation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management software.
  • Strong typing skills and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and terminology is beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; higher qualifications are advantageous.
