Design High-Efficiency Electric Motors

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electromechanical Design Engineer to design and develop high-efficiency electric motors for various applications.
The successful candidate will have experience with the design and development of high-performance switched reluctance motors (SRM), synchronous reluctance motors (SynchREL), PMSM/BLDC motors, and generator designs for EV and HEV applications.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of automotive drivetrain and components in EV and HEV drivetrain. A thorough understanding of motor assembly, winding techniques, magnetic materials, and electric machine testing methods and standards is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and design high-performance electric motors for EV and HEV applications using software tools such as FLUX, MAXWELL, and SPEED.
- Perform electrical design and electromagnetic analysis using Ansys Maxwell and Altair Flux.
- Collaborate with electromagnetic design engineers to develop mechanically and thermally feasible designs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BE/BTech in Electronics (& Telecommunication)/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electrical Engineer/ Mechatronics from a reputable institute.
