Motor Design Engineer Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Motor Design Engineer to join our team of experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement motor designs that meet specifications and performance requirements.
  • Analyze and optimize motor performance using analytical tools and FEA calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure motor design meets specifications.
  • Prototype and manufacture motors for testing and validation.
  • Evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop power-dense, efficient, low-cost and reliable electric motors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Electromagnetic Motor Design, Prototyping & Testing for Electric Vehicles.
  • Proficient in ANSYS Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell or similar FEA tools.
  • Expertise in motor material selection, soft magnetic composites, potting solutions, HRE free magnets etc.
