About this Motor Design Engineer role

This is a highly skilled position that involves developing and optimizing electric motor designs for electric vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electromagnetic engineering, with expertise in motor design principles, methodologies, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and testing motors to meet performance specifications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement motor design solutions
  • Analyzing and validating designs using FEA calculations and other analytical tools
  • Optimizing motors for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • M.E / M. Tech (EEE)
  • 4-7 years of experience in Electromagnetic Motor Design, Prototyping & Testing for Electric Vehicles

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in motor design software such as ANSYS Motor-CAD and ANSYS Maxwell
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and its applications in motor design
  • Experience with motor prototyping and testing
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
