Job Title: Motor Design

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Design Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of conceptualizing and designing high-efficiency, high-performance motors for electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. They will work closely with electromagnetic design engineers to develop mechanically and thermally feasible designs, focusing on documentation and testing & validation of electric machines as per relevant standards.

  • You will be responsible for the design and development of electric traction motors for Low/Medium/High voltage applications in Electric Vehicles (EV).
  • Hands-on experience in motor sizing, permanent magnet selection, and electromagnetic design using state-of-the-art tools like Maxwell 2D/3D and Altair Flux is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electric traction motors for EV applications.
  • Perform motor analysis and optimization using Ansys Maxwell (2D/3D) and Altair Flux.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate motor designs into vehicle systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics from a reputable institute.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive drivetrain and components in EV and HEV drivetrain.
  • Familiarity with motor assembly, winding techniques, and magnetic materials.
