Key responsibilities of the position involve collaboration with clients to understand their investment requirements in structured finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboarding client investments includes reviewing legal agreements and understanding servicer or trustee reporting.
  • Supporting clients in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions is a priority.
  • Clients require accurate covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • Daily operations are led by this role, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Collaboration with Business Analysts and Implementation teams ensures data accuracy on proprietary platforms.
  • Mentoring junior team members enhances learning curves.
  • Providing enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and sharing critical performance aspects proactively.
  • Process standardization and streamlining increase efficiencies and SOPs are set up around deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A broad understanding of Structured Finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, Middle Market Portfolio Financing is essential.
  • Core financial and accounting concepts must be well understood.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva, is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal - are essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines is vital.
  • Graduation with an MBA or advanced degree in finance like CFA, CAIA, and FRM is preferred.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm is desired.
