Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing: Spearhead recruitment efforts by collaborating with stakeholders to fill vacant positions, oversee the entire recruitment process, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Process employee compensation, calculate wages and benefits components, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and manage employee benefits programs.
  • Learning & Development/ Performance Management: Develop and implement comprehensive employee training programs, oversee performance evaluations, and conduct regular assessments of our benefits and compensation structures.
  • HRIS Management: Accurately maintain attendance records, update HR policies, guarantee smooth operation of day-to-day HR functions, and oversee our HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Other HR Functions: Coordinate with internal and external parties for the execution of group HR matters, initiate and manage HRIS development, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Meticulous and organized approach
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good writing style
  • Working experience in a ship management company and hiring experience for ex-mariner employees advantageous
  • Experience in a multinational environment and business communication with overseas offices preferred
