Lead Mechanical Engineer - Rotating & Packaged Equipments

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who can develop and apply advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to complex engineering problems.

Job Summary

This role involves working as a technical specialist or in a lead role under general direction. The successful candidate will have experience on rotating and packaged equipment in thermal power plants, coal open cycle combined cycle, oil, gas, fertilizer, water, green ammonia, and hydrogen generation, data center projects. They will be responsible for preparing RFQ plans, data sheets, requisitions, technical bid evaluations, purchase requisitions, and reviewing post-order vendor documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare RFQ plan, data sheet, requisitions, technical bid evaluations, purchase requisitions, and review post-order vendor documentation.
  2. Able to work on pre-FEED, FEED, proposal, and EPC projects.
  3. Experience of working on PMC, OE roles will be an advantage.
  4. Knowledge about code and standards API, ANSI, ASME, TEMA, NFPA will be an advantage.
  5. Participation in HAZOP, SIL meetings, and other client and management meetings.
  6. Prepare schedule of deliverables and estimate man-hours.
  7. Experience in resource planning will be an advantage.
  8. Site Experience will be an added advantage.
  9. Can lead and manage a team, team player, and shall be adaptive and flexible.
  10. Shall have experience or familiarity on the below listed equipment and packages for which we are looking to perform design and engineering work stated above in points 1 to 5.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 8 years related work experience.
