EMC Specialist - Automotive

Job Description:

As an EMC specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our automotive products comply with the relevant electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and experience in EMC testing and analysis. You will work closely with our design engineers to develop and implement EMC protection schemes and ensure that our products meet the required regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop and implement EMC protection schemes.
  • Conduct EMC testing and analysis on electronic products and systems.
  • Review and interpret EMC standards and regulations.
  • Develop test plans and procedures for compliance testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate EMC issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in performance of EMI/EMC analyses and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, including network analysers, spectrum analysers, Oscillators, signal generators, and EMC chambers.
  • Proficiency in digital and analog circuit design and schematic capture.
  • Understanding of PCB layout process and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of RF and EMC standards, including FCC, CISPR-25, ECE-R10, AIS-004, IEC, and EN.
  • Ability to work independently or in teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
