Electrical Systems Designer

This role involves the design and development of power electronic systems, encompassing AC/DC and DC/DC converters, inverters, motor drives and more. The goal is to meet customer requirements and industry standards through rigorous planning and execution.

  • Advanced simulations and analysis are conducted using software tools like PSpice, LTspice or MATLAB/Simulink to optimize system performance, efficiency and reliability.
  • Selection of components, materials and suppliers for power electronics applications must consider factors such as cost, performance and availability.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping, digital control, testing and troubleshooting of power electronic systems is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of power semiconductor devices MOSFETs, IGBTs, GaN HEMTs and their characteristics is required.
  • A solid grasp of magnetics design inductor, transformer etc. for power electronics application is necessary.
  • Knowledge of thermal management techniques and electromagnetic compatibility EMC considerations in power electronics design ensures compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations throughout the design process.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills enable effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 8 years of experience.

A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field is essential.
