Senior Valuation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Valuation Specialist to join our team of experts in the field of business valuation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and managing business valuation engagements for both financial reporting (US GAAP) and Tax Reporting for various industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in valuations related to Business Combinations / Purchase Price Allocation, Goodwill Impairments, Gift and Estate Valuation, 409A/Stock Compensation (ASC 718), reviewing of 3rd party valuations, assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data, valuation of Equity, Debt, Derivatives etc., Litigation arising out of Shareholder disputes etc., Financial Modelling, and understanding of US Tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and manage business valuation engagements for financial reporting (US GAAP) and Tax Reporting
  • Develop and implement valuation methodologies and models
  • Review and analyze financial statements and other relevant data
  • Prepare and present valuation reports to clients and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • CFA, CA, MBA etc.
  • CFA or MBA (Finance) preferred
  • Proven hands-on experience in business valuation
  • Ability to think laterally and analytically
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
