Job Opportunity: Investment Analyst

  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Duties include deal analysis, loan portfolio purchases, loan stratification analysis, historical performance reviews, price modeling, credit facilities, forecast modeling, cumulative collections curves, runoff models, and other finance opportunities.
  • Responsibilities also include creating financial memos and research summaries, conducting market research, summarizing qualitative and quantitative aspects of deals, performance analysis and valuation support, tracking monthly performance of positions, collecting and cleansing data tapes and inputs from external counterparties, tracking expected vs. actual performance variances, flagging and identifying deviations from assumptions, assisting the finance team in updating valuation models, monitoring covenants, audit support, reviewing draw requests for compliance, monitoring Credit Facility positions on Excel BBC models, requesting information from counterparties, performing data and calculation audits, pulling/requesting portfolio tapes and Borrowing Base Certificates (BBCs), reviewing portfolio tapes and BBCs, cleaning and standardizing data, flagging abnormalities, and maintaining standardized formats and dealroom folders, CRM, LMS, and other systems.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in finance operations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English)
  • Nice to have: experience with business intelligence tools such as QuickSight or PowerBI
