Job Summary:

The role encompasses strategic leadership and technical expertise to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications. This includes digital platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), intranets, websites, and custom web and mobile applications.

The successful candidate will leverage a product ownership mindset with delivery discipline, working closely with various teams including HR, Communications, Legal, Knowledge Management, Learning & Development, Business Development, and Finance to deliver secure, intuitive, and future-ready digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the roadmap for modern applications in alignment with firm-wide priorities, incorporating elements of digital adoption, knowledge management, employee experience, and automation.
  • Act as the product owner for all client- and employee-facing applications, balancing user empathy with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead the adoption and integration of emerging technologies such as GenAI solutions to enhance existing products and explore new opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Identify robotic process automation (RPA) opportunities across the organization and implement solutions to streamline workflows and drive productivity.
  • Stay abreast of emerging enterprise technologies and assess their relevance to the firm's digital transformation journey.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to modernize legacy applications.
  • Educate business teams and practice groups on the evolving possibilities of technology to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Promote consistent user experience, single sign-on, and content governance across platforms.
  • Manage relationships with implementation partners, content contributors, and third-party developers.
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs), enhancement cycles, and budget controls across each application domain.
  • Advocate for low-code/no-code innovation and rapid prototyping for department and practice-specific needs.
  • Build and manage integrations across all systems.
  • Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies that align with legal and professional services contexts.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy policies, ISO 27001, and client-specific confidentiality obligations.
  • Develop publishing governance, access role matrices, and compliance audits across intranet, structured digital database (SDD), and apps.
  • Oversee audit-readiness, content lifecycle controls, and backup/disaster recovery for these systems.
  • Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) for adoption, uptime, enhancement turnaround, and business impact.
  • Share regular reports with leadership on modern applications ROI, usage trends, and future plans.
