Job Title: Strategic Infrastructure Development Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of strategic infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economics, finance, or business administration and at least 10 years of relevant experience in the infrastructure sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading engagement delivery and business development support for various practice offices. They will also be responsible for maintaining exceptional quality of deliverables, building relationships with clients, and supporting onshore practices in generating new business within key sectors.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent business writing and economic or financial modelling skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of working in either transport, health and human services, or power and utilities sectors.

The team will be led by a seasoned manager who will drive improvements in the team's understanding of requirements across key competency and sectors. They will translate this into consistently high-quality deliverables and assist practice offices with all forms of high-quality deliverables such as business case preparation, government side tender evaluation, financial modelling and analysis, economic modelling and analysis, desktop sector research, and other adhoc requests.

The role also involves managing a team of 6-7 people, acting as a counsellor for team members, and maintaining strong communications with clients through email, skype, video conferences, and any other form of communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To qualify for the role, you must have a Master's degree in economics, finance, or business administration, and at least 10 years of relevant experience working in the infrastructure sector. You should also have demonstrated experience of producing high-quality written deliverables, particularly in a business case or policy development context, and undertaking economic or financial modelling.

You should possess good project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel. You should also have good knowledge of research databases like Factiva, ThomsonONE, Capital IQ, BMI, etc.

You should be able to coach and mentor team members on writing, technical skills, and soft skills.
