Lead Technical Director Role

Sought for a dynamic leadership position, we need an ambitious individual with expertise in Drainage Engineering and Design Management to lead technical delivery across major infrastructure projects.

About the Position:

  1. Tech Leadership: Drive successful project execution, particularly in drainage design and implementation for large-scale highways and infrastructure projects.
  2. Client Partnership: Engage with clients, identify interests, and cultivate new opportunities while ensuring satisfaction.
  3. Design Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of project design with various disciplines and work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project completion within established parameters.
  4. Team Management: Manage project teams, coordinate resources, define task scopes, and plan as part of a multi-disciplinary design team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate experience (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Highway Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer Status (ICE, CEng, MICE, MIHT, or MCIWEM) or equivalent international qualification.
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in Design Consulting Environment, preferably with significant experience using design tools like Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, Storm CAD.
  • Familiarity with UK standards (DMRB) and DMRB specifications and standards.
  • Significant experience handling major design projects with multi-disciplinary coordination, preferably for UK infrastructure business.
