Key Account Development Specialist

This is a business development position that involves managing key accounts with high growth potential.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at our partner dealerships.
  • - Collaborate closely with sales teams to drive motor insurance sales through bundled offerings.
  • - Conduct regular visits to assess dealer engagement and address any concerns.
  • Sales Performance & Growth:
  • - Drive GWP and policy count growth through effective sales strategies.
  • - Meet or exceed sales targets by leveraging market insights and competitor analysis.
  • - Implement corrective actions to optimize dealer performance.
  • Training & Enablement:
  • - Provide in-depth product knowledge training to dealership staff.
  • - Deliver regular refresher sessions and workshops to enhance their skills.
  • - Offer sales collateral, brochures, and digital tools to support their efforts.
  • Campaign Execution & Management:
  • - Collaborate with the marketing team to roll out local campaigns.
  • - Track campaign results and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
  • Operations & Support:
  • - Ensure seamless policy issuance, endorsements, and documentation processes.
  • - Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and IT teams for issue resolution.
  • - Provide timely support for customer queries and claim initiation.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • - Maintain strict adherence to IRDAI and internal compliance standards.
  • - Keep detailed records of dealer engagement, sales metrics, and customer feedback.
  • - Submit timely reports to regional sales leadership.
  • Requirements:
  • - Strong B2B sales experience preferably in motor insurance or auto dealerships.
  • - Ability to independently manage multiple key account relationships.
  • - Good understanding of motor insurance products and processes.
  • - Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
