Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing production systems during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and prompt response to incidents.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in EOD/BOD job handling and managing DC, DR failover activities, as well as system patching processes and coordination with different teams.

You will also be responsible for preparing and sharing comprehensive periodic status reports detailing the performance, incidents, and improvements made during the week.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with EOD/BOD job handling and managing DC, DR failover activities.
    • System patching processes and coordination with different teams.
    • Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Linux systems.
    • Basic understanding of database systems (DB2).
  • Social Skills:
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during the night shift.
    • Dedication towards duties and responsibilities and should take initiatives.
    • Team building and leadership.
