Job Overview:

A seasoned Jira administrator is required to lead our Atlassian environment in India. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Jira administration, governance, and best practices for enterprise-level implementations.

  • Manage, optimize, and scale the Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Jira projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and notifications.

We are seeking a senior Jira administrator with extensive experience in Jira administration, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira solutions.
  2. Establish governance, standards, and best practices for Jira usage across the organization.
  3. Manage user access, roles, and security settings in line with organizational policies.
  4. Monitor Jira system performance, conduct regular health checks, and manage upgrades or migrations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Jira integrations, APIs, and add-ons/marketplace apps.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  1. 7-9 years of experience in Jira administration.
  2. Strong knowledge of Jira Software (Cloud and/or Data Center) and Confluence administration.
  3. Proven experience designing complex workflows, schemes, and automation rules.
  4. Hands-on experience with Jira integrations, APIs, and add-ons/marketplace apps.
