Desktop Support Position

We are seeking a talented Desktop Support Specialist to join our organization. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to provide exceptional support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance for desktop and laptop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  • Assist users in resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in-person support.
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure all hardware is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates for software applications and operating systems.
  • Provide training and support for users on various software applications.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications.
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
