Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in India. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to provide excellent support to our users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting. They will install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals, assist users in resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in-person support, and manage and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.

To succeed in this role, you will have strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications, basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
  • Assist users in resolving technical issues
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
