Lead BIM Professional

The role of a Lead BIM professional is crucial in driving the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance the design, planning, and execution of construction projects. This position supports the business's strategic focus on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions by leveraging advanced modeling tools like Tekla to optimize project workflows, improve accuracy, and ensure seamless collaboration across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage BIM models for construction projects with precision and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to integrate BIM workflows into project execution effectively.
  • Create detailed 3D models using Tekla software, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation efficiently.
  • Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables and successful project outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation and growth.
  • Support senior engineers in strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments, contributing to informed business decisions.
