We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Sales Strategist to lead our sales efforts in the Central Government ministries.

Role Overview

This is a key leadership role that requires building and nurturing relationships with senior bureaucrats, government officials, and decision-makers to influence and drive sales.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of government tenders, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth in the Central Government market
  • Build and manage relationships with key OEMs and partners to develop joint strategies for winning government business
  • Provide strategic input and insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, bids, and other documentation necessary for government projects
Requirements
  • Proven experience of closing large business opportunities in Central Government during the last 3 financial years
  • At least 10-12 years of overall sales experience with a minimum of 5 years specifically in Central Government sales
  • Engineering graduate + MBA (preferred)
  • Must have worked in a System Integration company, with deep familiarity in selling IT solutions to Central government
  • Strong knowledge of government business processes, including familiarity with government tenders, procurement policies, and contract management
  • Proven relationships with senior government officials and key OEMs
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage complex government deals, excellent relationship management, and strategic thinking
Estimated Salary: ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum
