Job Title: Legal Counsel

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to manage all legal and compliance matters.

This role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing applications and filings, representing the company in proceedings, and coordinating with senior advocates and external advisors.

  • Drafting and Reviewing: Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
  • Compliance Work: Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
  • Representation: Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when required.
  • Applications and Filings: Prepare and file applications, petitions, and responses with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintaining Records: Maintain organized legal records and case files.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • Monitoring Changes: Monitor changes in relevant laws/regulations and keep management updated.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • At least 3 years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
