Job Title: Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking a seasoned corporate lawyer to join our international team.

The ideal candidate will primarily support our corporate department on US law related work, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation, and representation, as well as specialty international commercial work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our corporate team on US law related work
  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation, and representation
  • Providing solutions to clients in simple English
  • Synthesizing large volumes of information and presenting conclusions and recommendations
  • Working independently to evaluate complex legal issues

Requirements:

  • Qualified as an Advocate in India with at least 1 year PQE
  • LLB or equivalent degree from an Indian national law school (or equivalent) and ranked in at least the top 20%
  • Previous experience with a tier-1 corporate law firm in India in the M&A, Private Equity, or General Corporate practice
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly assess potential for risk and opportunity
  • Proven team player with demonstrated teamwork, analytical, and consultation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
