Senior Tax Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead our direct tax division. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the division's business, proactively managing client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage the direct tax division, leading growth and development initiatives
  • Proactively manage client relationships to ensure successful completion of advisory assignments
  • Responsible for managing quality of client deliverables on matters of M&A Tax/Transaction Tax Advisory, Direct Taxation (Domestic & International), and Corporate Tax Planning
  • Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, mobilizing and inspiring them to meet allocated deliverables
  • Actively undertake business development to onboard new clients from existing networks and past connections

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Lawyer and/or CA with experience in rendering M&A Tax/Direct Tax/Corporate Tax Advisory Services at reputable consulting, CA firms, or law firms
  • Location: Kolkata; outstation candidates who can frequently travel to Kolkata are also considered
