Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing process from initial identification of requirements through to contract negotiation and finalization. This includes assessing current market conditions, evaluating potential suppliers, and developing strategies to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal clients and external suppliers.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the sourcing process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing initiatives, processes, and strategy development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty, with a solutions-focused approach.

  • Effective relationship management skills, with a focus on building trust and credibility with stakeholders.
  • Financial analysis skills, including advanced Excel skills and knowledge of financial systems.
  • Confidence in ability to negotiate contracts and agreements, with a focus on value creation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Assets:
  • Experience working with SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules.
  • Familiarity with third-party risk management for Financial Service Institutions.
