Steel Detailer & Procurement Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Steel Detailer and Procurement Specialist to support our operations. This role will focus on detailing and reviewing drawings, preparing bills of materials, and managing procurement needs for our projects.

About the Role:

  • Detailing and Reviewing Drawings: Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings and bills of materials.
  • Material Preparation: Use detailing software to model and detail steel components including stairs, railings, embeds, and structural steel. Generate and organize CNC files, bolt lists, BOM, and fabrication-ready documentation.
  • Procurement Management: Review drawings and shop details to identify all materials, hardware, and consumables required for fabrication and installation. Create accurate takeoffs and prepare purchase lists for materials (steel shapes, plate, pipe/tube, fasteners, weld consumables, etc.).

Key Qualifications:

  • Software Proficiency: Tekla Structures or AutoCAD/Advance Steel (required). Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Excel (required).
  • Fabrication Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural and architectural steel fabrication.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Organizational Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
