Job Summary:

The Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit is one of the strategic investments in western India, focused on producing high-quality clear glass. The state-of-the-art float glass plant has set a benchmark for quality within India and globally, producing 550 MT of clear glass per day.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage finished goods storage and dispatch
  • Responsible for receipt from float responsible for safety & 5S in warehouse bays
  • Manage storage & serviceability in warehouse bays
  • Responsible for traceability and retrievability of material
  • Responsible for bay audits and reporting
  • Responsible for inventory management
  • Knowledge of forklift operations and EOT
  • Knowledge on optimization of space and consumables
  • Internal/external customer interaction
  • Task orientation man power management
  • Emergency handling & crisis management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma - Engineering (Any stream) with good academic record
  • 2-4 years of experience

Essential Skills:

  • Forklift operations and EOT knowledge
  • Inventory management expertise
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and team management abilities
  • Crisis management and problem-solving skills
