Inventory Associate Job Description

The role of an Inventory Associate is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data across all customers in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile inventory quantities between WMS and physical stock for optimal results.
  • Track inward quantity, order processed quantity, and order cancelled quantity, and compare it with available stock quantity.
  • Plan and execute monthly cycle counts for each customer to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate quarterly wall-to-wall counting for all customers to reduce errors.
  • Meet stringent requirements by maintaining 99.65% inventory accuracy and < 0.03% inventory loss.
  • Provide necessary data to internal and external auditors on time.
  • Design procedures to prevent high-value item loss and minimize warehouse damage to inventory.
  • Count packing materials daily to avoid discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • A graduate with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with order processing software.
