Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the fleet, coordinating with various departments and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role is also responsible for managing documentation, liaising with clients, and supporting the team in achieving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To monitor daily noon reports/position reports and coordinate with vessel masters to ensure all vessels meet charter party terms and conditions.
  • To collect cargo documents from vessels at every load/discharge port and evaluate vessel performance using charterers' performance format.
  • To prepare freight invoices and demurrage claims as per charter party and follow up with charterers for timely payment.
  • To ensure deck and engine logs are sent to charterers within stipulated time and raise monthly charter hire, freight, bunker reimbursement, and demurrage invoices to charterers and brokers.
  • To assist Vessel Operation Superintendent in day-to-day work for smooth vessel operation and select, appoint, and approve agency PDA and FDA.
