Be part of a team that designs and builds complex marine infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Marine Structures Specialist with a strong background in coastal and marine engineering, including 10+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, and constructing marine structures.

As a Marine Structures Specialist, you will lead the design and construction of marine structures, including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks. You will provide expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Marine Structures: Lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure, ensuring it meets industry standards and best practices.
  • Coastal Engineering Expertise: Provide in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Structural & Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the safety and integrity of marine structures.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure construction processes meet environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.
  • Construction Supervision: Provide on-site guidance, troubleshooting, and decision-making during the construction phase, overseeing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of marine structures.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software (e.g., MIKE21, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, etc.) for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Experience with risk management and ability to develop cost-effective and durable solutions for marine infrastructure.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Marine Structures).
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects in Kerala or similar coastal regions.
  • Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
