Key Account Manager Job

The role of a Key Account Manager involves developing and executing business plans for a select set of named accounts. This entails positioning system integration solutions from our portfolio of focus IT products and services.

This is a client-facing role that aims to uncover large-value enterprise opportunities in assigned accounts. The key account manager drives sales of large-value solutions in the enterprise customer space.

They interface with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and consolidate business reach and service in each assigned account. Delivering against key strategic and functional goals across our IT solutions portfolio is their responsibility.

Our IT solutions portfolio comprises products and technologies from leading OEMs such as Broadcom, ManageEngine, Check Point, Palo Alto, FireEye, NetApp, Attivo, Nutanix, Trend Micro, VMware, and Veeam among others.

What You Will Deliver:

  1. Manage 1-2 super-large enterprise accounts, driving and executing the business plan to meet revenue targets.
  2. Understand customers' IT investment landscape and position our focused SI solutions by mapping them with customer requirements.
  3. Make techno-commercial decisions on customer deals and coordinate cross-functionally from pre-sales to business realization.
  4. Prospect, develop, up-sell, cross-sell and generate new business opportunities with assigned accounts.
  5. Respond timely to ongoing RFP's to achieve quarterly targets.
  6. Map CXOs and key decision-makers in assigned accounts using customer insights to develop aligned solutions.
  7. Network with key OEM members to review opportunities and engage support where required for opportunity closure.
  8. Continuously track and analyze market dynamics, competition, pricing, and technology developments; revise and improve the business plan and strategy accordingly.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of information technology sales experience in the Indian enterprise IT market.
  • Experience in managing relationships with banking/financial services customers is an added advantage.
  • Managing regulations in banking/NBFC/insurance domains is also an added advantage.
  • High energy, interpersonal skills, and a hunger to win.
  • Successful team or business unit leadership experience with a focus on delivering overall team/unit goals.
  • Interest in learning, understanding, and positioning technology is essential.
  • MBA with specialization in marketing or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork, listening, and business acumen.
