Payroll Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for US and Canada locations.
  • Expertly utilize ADP, PayChex, and QuickBooks (QB) payroll tools to streamline operations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate 401K reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and reconcile unemployment tax rates, ensuring timely filing and adherence to statutory guidelines.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and HR teams to facilitate payroll inputs, audits, and reporting.
  • Effectively address employee payroll queries and provide prompt resolutions.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in US Payroll management, with added value from Canadian payroll knowledge.
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP, PayChex, and QuickBooks payroll systems is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing and submitting 401K reports and handling tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP will be highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills are required.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success.
