IT Operations System Administrator

SRE Administrators play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our applications. Their responsibilities span from production support to application administration, encompassing mixed environments primarily based on Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities include attending help requests, installations, configurations, debugging, and root cause analysis, as well as working on application design and deployment projects, change management, and monitoring.
- Strong experience with power shell scripts is required, along with good understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL. Knowledge of debugging network related issues using tools like Wireshark is also essential.
- Excellent knowledge in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud with a minimum of two years of experience is necessary.
- Strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server is a must.
- Experience in application security and ability to fine tune applications for performance issues are highly desirable.
What we need:
- BS/MS degree with solid experience as an application support administrator in a Microsoft oriented IT environment.
- Excellent technical understanding of n-Tiered Microsoft platforms and application architectures.
- Good written and oral communication skills (must be able to articulate technical designs, strategies, and problems).
- Working knowledge of SQL databases is necessary.
