Pricing Analyst Job Description

The Pricing Analyst will drive deal pricing across multiple engagement models to ensure competitive positioning while protecting profitability.

  • Lead deal pricing for pursuits across various contract types, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models & cost sheets, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals.
  • Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas.
Requirements
  • MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution is mandatory.
  • Three to six years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / FP&A roles within IT services organizations is required.
  • Global/multi-geo experience is an added advantage.

This role demands strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis. The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of IT services business models and proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and scenario modeling tools.

Responsibilities include designing commercial models that balance client competitiveness with long-term profitability objectives, delivering monthly profitability reports, and providing financial insights on market benchmarks, competitor pricing, and industry trends.
