Commercial Contract Specialist

Job Title: Commercial Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Specialist to support the delivery of projects at a leading construction company.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation for all claim-related matters, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and relevant laws.
  • Familiarize yourself with the client's requirements based on the Conditions of Contract and project schedule, effectively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Identify changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost and notify stakeholders in a timely manner, facilitating proactive decision-making.
  • Track submitted claims and prepare contractual justification and supporting documents, ensuring all submissions meet required standards.
  • Prepare contract replies and requests for claim approval, maintaining clear and concise communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with the project team to gather required details and inputs, fostering collaboration and information sharing.
  • Ensure all claims are substantiated with Contract entitlements, providing transparent and evidence-based justifications.
  • Requirements:
  • 10-20 years of experience in commercial contracts management within the construction industry.
  • Effective Cost Management and Communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.
  • Good knowledge & experience in standard method of measurements, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
  • Sound contracts administration and Management skills, ensuring seamless contract execution and compliance.
  • Capable of monitoring Cost control techniques, proactively identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
  • Good at project Commercial Management skills, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure project success.
