Job Title: Legal Contract Specialist

The role of a Legal Contract Specialist is pivotal in supporting the legal function by streamlining legal review of commercial agreements and increasing efficiency for revenue/sales.

This position requires drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts, maintaining accurate and compliant contract records, and building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.

Closely collaborating with legal counsel and internal teams, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of legal and business matters.

This is not just a support role, but a critical function ensuring legal compliance, document integrity, and operational excellence.

  • Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for various agreements according to established guidelines.
  • Solve contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally within the organization.
  • Develop and articulate creative solutions, working closely with attorneys as needed.
  • Obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with internal policies.
  • Educate internal teams on conformity and consistency in contract terms and legal obligations.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of administrative processes and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Manage complex issues and apply legal, financial, and business principles to contracting.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant contract records.

Requirements:

  • University level degree or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years' experience negotiating legal terms & conditions with customers or vendors.
  • Training or education in law, negotiation, or legal writing.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience working with commercial contract management and contract/commercial law.
