As a seasoned Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our state programs.

Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the central point of contact for interventions across states, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

This senior-level position demands strong leadership skills to drive successful project implementation and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
  • Act as the single point of contact for critical project decisions, providing strategic guidance and oversight.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior officials, funders, partners, and state governments to achieve project outcomes.
  • Monitor project timelines, progress, risks, and dependencies, delegating responsibilities effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategic and short-term project plans, utilizing data-driven tools for monitoring progress and managing escalations.
Cross-functional Support:
  • Lead collaboration across teams to ensure efficient backend support and internal alignment within state initiatives.
  • Analyze data to identify trends across multiple state programs, contributing to organizational learning and improvement.
  • Document program activities, monitor data, develop case studies, and compile evidence of outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and implement an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system in collaboration with the M&E team.
Educational Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in data monitoring and analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and utilize data to inform decision-making.
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and execute strategic and short-term project plans.
    • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Abilities:
    • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex organizational landscapes.
    • Capacity to work under pressure with tight timelines, adapt to changing project requirements, and ensure timely deliverables.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices, particularly in the context of education and non-profit sectors.
