We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable professional to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Sound understanding and experience in AP on invoice processing, payments, helpdesk & vendor reconciliations is required.
  • The successful candidate will review and process invoices along with providing resolutions.
  • Release the invoices for payment timely and accurately.
  • Ensure that all payment runs get completed as agreed with the customer.
  • Resolve all vendor queries and requests coming via e-mails/tickets/calls within the agreed SLA.
  • Follow up with requisitions (via calls/emails or tickets) to solve invoice issues as per the AP guideline.
  • Able to think through how to reduce helpdesk queries and contribute to process improvements.
  • Adhere to internal compliance policy and guidelines established by management on daily operational activities.
  • Perform daily internal audits to ensure all Invoices / queries are handled as per the guidelines.
  • Achieving contractually agreed KPIs / SLAs for owned processes is essential.
  • Experience in handling weekly/monthly governance meetings with internal and external stakeholders is beneficial.
  • Ensure adherence to VAT and other applicable tax regulations in AP transactions.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards in financial operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mentality is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ownership mentality displays a willingness to challenge the status quo leading to the creation and implementation of excellent processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • B.Com Graduate or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Rich experience in Accounts Payable is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Previous experience in governance meetings and managing relationships with Key Accounts Managers.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations related to collections and dispute resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, best practices, and their integration within required systems.
  • Hands-on experience in navigating complex collections and dispute scenarios.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
