Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced asset management professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day workflows of existing assets, monitoring cash flows, tracking asset performance, managing risk, and overseeing third-party partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new portfolios, track and summarize reporting, prepare analytics, communicate status, process, and asset level activity to various groups.
  • Collaborate with asset management teams and external business partners on performance review and value enhancement suggestions.
  • Coordinate lender reporting, loan covenants, and ensure compliance with credit agreements.
  • Outline key terms in credit and purchase agreements.
  • Enhance operational efficiencies and information flow with internal and external teams.

Real Estate Technology Project Management:

  • Work closely with client's technology team and third-party consultants on high priority real estate technology implementation initiatives.
  • Review chart of account mapping, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial statements reflect deal activity and performance.
  • Assist in managing third-party workflows.
  • Analyse portfolio data using dynamic portfolio management tools.

Requirements:

  • Six to eight years of experience in asset management or related fields.
  • Strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP & IFRS) with advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with a well-developed understanding of key investment performance drivers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Able to cultivate trust and build strong partnerships with different counterparts.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of third-party databases such as Yardi, Argus, CoStar, Real Page, Bloomberg, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros.

Education:

  • CPA / CFA / MBA or equivalent qualification in accounting & finance from a reputed institution.
