Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our organization's Data Governance program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and governance, with experience implementing tools like Collibra, Informatica, and Alation.

  • Act as a primary contributor for the tool implementation of Data governance programs.
  • Build and support solutions for Data governance in popular tools to enable data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Enable enterprise-level integration of metadata stores for business users to search and understand information.
  • Support implementing a solution for Data Cataloging with a Data governance tool to establish clear data ownership and access control management.
  • Build custom integrations between the Data governance tool and various data stores to map and view data lineage.
  • Support migrating from existing data sources to a Data Governance tool.
  • Implement Workflow management systems to optimize, improve, and automate Data Governance workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement data quality rules for data validation and standardization.
  • Track, investigate, and correct data quality issues in a Data Governance tool.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who possesses:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
  • Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and leaders to identify and align on workable business solutions.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills with change management concepts and strategies.
  • Certifications on these tools is a plus.
