IT Governance Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned IT Governance Professional to oversee governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives in alignment with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage IT Governance Frameworks: Oversee the implementation and management of IT governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.
  • Policies, Procedures, and Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Risk Assessments and Audit Readiness: Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • IT Governance Calendar: Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Governance Expertise: Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.
Qualifications & Skills:

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
