About the Role

This Sustainability Specialist will be at the forefront of designing and implementing effective sustainability programs that align with corporate values and global environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive sustainability initiatives that support long-term environmental goals by identifying key impact areas, setting measurable targets, and ensuring alignment with global ESG frameworks.
  • Collect, analyze, and report environmental performance data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management, preparing ESG disclosures and sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the organization complies with local and international environmental regulations, supporting environmental audits, maintaining documentation, and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices, leading awareness campaigns and sustainability workshops to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the company's ecological footprint and ensure business continuity.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new technologies, materials, and methods that can enhance sustainability performance, recommending and piloting innovative solutions.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices, environmental compliance, and corporate responsibility.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required. Certifications in ESG or sustainability reporting are a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001. Proficiency in data analysis tools and sustainability software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging way to diverse audiences.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to driving positive environmental change.
