Job Title: Coastal Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional with a deep understanding of coastal and marine engineering to lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing team focused on sustainable coastal development. As a Coastal Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and constructing marine structures including breakwaters, jetties, quays, and docks for major port projects.
  • Providing in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.
  • Conducting advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring that construction processes align with environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software (e.g., MIKE21, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro) for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Marine Structures).
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects in Kerala or similar coastal regions.
  • Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
