Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Marine Structure Specialist to play a pivotal role in the development and modernization of port infrastructure. As part of our team, you will contribute to the growth of Kerala's maritime infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Engineering Leadership: Oversee design, analysis, and execution of key structural components for port infrastructure, including breakwaters, jetties, quays, docks, and seawalls.
  • Project Management Consultancy (PMC): Provide technical leadership and oversight for port infrastructure projects, ensuring quality standards, project timelines, and budget constraints are met.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Oversee risk mitigation strategies and safety measures, ensuring regulatory guidelines and safety standards are followed.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise construction activities on-site, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability.
  • Design Optimization: Implement advanced structural engineering principles to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, resilience, and environmental sustainability.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting: Prepare progress reports, design reviews, and technical documentation for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed as a Lead Marine Structure Specialist, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with marine and port infrastructure focus.
  • Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale port projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and team management.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools.
  • Strong understanding of marine structures and ability to lead and manage teams.
