About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Structural Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and execution of key structural components for port infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, project management, and marine infrastructure. They will possess excellent communication skills and be able to lead and manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, analysis, and execution of structural components for port infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the execution of port infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.
  • Oversee risk mitigation strategies and safety measures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
  • Supervise construction activities on-site and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate degree in structural engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale port projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools for design and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of marine structures, including their response to wave forces, tide variations, sediment movement, and marine environmental conditions.
