Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Job Description:

This is a highly challenging position that requires a strong background in structural engineering and design.

  • Basic & detail design activities for assigned projects in Petrochemical Plants, Oil & Gas Plants will be performed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Preparation / review of PFD, P&ID's, project specific specifications, design calculation / analysis, procurement specification will be carried out.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Qualification - Bachelor/Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering is required.
  • Skills Required- STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, STAAD Foundation is preferable.
  • Conversant with StaadPro & SAP software is expected.
  • Knowledge of FEM based connection design tools like Ideastatica is required.
  • Working knowledge of Auto Cad and Other 3D tools like Tekla structure, Navisworks, SPR etc. is needed.
  • Jacket and Topside pre service analysis will be performed.
  • Jacket Impact Analysis will be carried out.
  • Jacket and topside Fatigue Analysis will be performed.
  • Pile Drivability Analysis will be done.
  • Preparing load Calculations and loading sketches is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of Industrial Architecture, PHE and Roadways is required.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of structural steel / reinforced concrete design & detailing of Process/non process buildings Machine foundations Pipe rack Factory Buildings etc. is expected.
  • Experience in international codes & standards is preferable.
  • Responsible for quality checks, quality assurance of reviewed drawings.

  • Familiarity with following will be considered as additional advantage;
  • 3D environment working with software such as SP3D, TEKLA.
  • Team leads in medium to large size relevant project.
  • Process knowledge and ability to develop team.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce coherent, self-explanatory reports such as technical documents, market research analysis and business advisory.
